Spotted. Two soon-to-be housemates at a mall-wide sale when they are supposed to be at home...packing. Here's the evidence:
| | The doggy is no longer a baby puppy! |
| | After more than a month of condo-hunting in upscale Salcedo & Legazpi Village , Nick & I were still hopeless in our quest for a new place to call "home". In the middle of panic attacks we decided to check out the Makati suburbs. It was a more practical choice as it fit our budget and it was near both our offices.
Lo and behold...the Amapola Apartments. Reminds us of some chic apartment/co-op in Brooklyn as getting in meant filling out a very detailed application form and going through a rigorous interview with the owner (How are you two related? How long have you been friends? Have you ever gotten into a fight? Do you smoke? Do you throw wild house parties?) . Thank God we passed the assessment. And so, may I present our cool digs. Tell us what you think!
/me says house warming this July! :-) |
I've been craving for steak for the past weeks. Ever since chuvaness has been updating us bloggers with their newly- acquired franchise, my mouth has been watering of what was coming.
Before going to Ortigas to continue our condo-hunting, Nick, Pao & I decided that we should go try what everyone has been raving about.
Ohh and it was well worth the wait! Let my pictures tell the story...
YUM!!!
P/S We did celeb spotting (although we were really busy with our food) and saw Eric Quizon among others. I wanted to have my pic taken with chuva's hubby but got camera shy. Maybe next time, because we are definitely going back!

The sequel to our supposed night-out with the cousins. Others couldn't make it due to various reasons (mostly coz of school). Micki & Kippy picked Oliver and myself up @ my place and we headed to meet Sean (from San Josa, CA) & Krissa (Studying in London).
After tons of drinks and some really funny (and deep?) conversation, we decided to call it a night. No one could argue. Not even Krissa because she was busy runnin' around the parking lot barefoot. *VEG* Monica (from Tennessee, Daughter of Uncle Mikee's friend) was runner up I think it was her 1st time getting drunk?
Not in the pics were incriminating shots (pics, not the drink) of Krissa who spent most of the night in North Park's bathroom. We, on the other hand, enjoyed our after party dimsum and noodles. YUMMY.
Let's do this again, guys! |
| | When: June 10, 2007 Where: Sentro, Greenbelt With whom: Balikbayan cousin Jason, Sarah & Anto, Anna & Tam, Trissy & Carlo, Mick, Kip, Dani, Oliver and myself.
I was running late 'cause I was super tired from my shift. No one even noticed my unmatched earrings! Hehe. Anyway, this dinner was supposed to be for balikbayan cousins Sean and Krissa. They cancelled at the last minute but nevertheless, we had to entertain the cousin from the East coast (Hi, Jason!).
I dunno, it was like our usual family reunions just take out the noisy and drunk aunts and uncles. *VEG* Add my 'lil cousins SOs, plus plates and plates of good food (Thanks to our head honcho, Sarah)...there ya have it! A night of gastronomical FUN.
The Perfecto couins swore we'd go out and do this again. Nice idea, but...who's gonna pay? Bring your mommies & daddies, please! *VEG* |
| | When: June 2, 2007 Where: Transfiguration Church, Caleruega, Batangas
I can't believe my cousin Niko tied the knot! It's not the first among this side of my family, but I just can't get over that my younger cousin is gonna start a family. Well anyway, I think he'd make a really great husband and dad coz he's such a sweetie! :-)
The wedding was an intimate affair with mostly immediate family members & closest friends. Everything down to the last detail was obviously well thought of and carefully planned. A fun reception followed at the Grand Ballroom of Chateau Royale. Wouldn't have been memorable if not for personalized vid presentations/speeches and surprise performances by the couple's family members.
SIGH. We all left with nostalgic smiles on our faces.
Congrats, cuz. Welcome to the Albano family, Mich! :-) |
